Tal is a triple threat performer (actor, singer, dancer), production coordinator, video editor, and emerging producer with a huge passion for children’s media. Currently living in Toronto, she is a proud graduate of the Centennial College Children’s Media Post Graduate Program, George Brown Theatre School, and Capilano University’s Bachelor of Performing Arts program.
Tal has been performing on stage, singing, dancing and acting in musicals, plays, concerts and official state ceremonies in Hebrew and English from the early age of six. She has studied singing professionally for the past 16 years and danced jazz, tap, and hip hop competitively. In May 2019, she was honoured to receive the inaugural Jon Kaplan Award for a Student at a Canadian Theatre School.
Some selected credits include performing at the Harold Green Jewish Theatre tribute concert, Streisand x9, celebrating the music and career of the icon Barbra Streisand. As well as playing Grusha in Caucasian Chalk Circle, directed by Richard Greenblatt (GBTS Company), and taking part in the SummerWorks 2019 Lab Project, Worry Warts, directed by Julie Tepperman (Convergence Theatre).
With a huge passion for children’s media, Tal has performed for children and families all over Ontario as a member of the Judy and David Theatre Troupe (TYA Touring show) for three years as well as in the George Brown kids show production, Munsch on the Moon, which she also helped write and compose. As a performer, Tal is interested in developing her craft in multiple domains, including theatre, musical theatre, voice-over, television, film, and theatre for young audiences in Canada and internationally.
